Audi RS3 (8V) Bespoke Discs

04.07.2016

Tarox has unveiled a newly designed two-piece performance front brake disc solution for the Audi RS3 8V – one of the most popular models from the Ingolstadt manufacturer and a car that begs to be driven at speed.
Although the standard Audi front brake discs feature directional cooling vanes from factory, the cooling vanes are not handed, this means the left hand disc and right hand disc have different orientations.
Tarox’s two-piece performance front brake disc solution features cooling vanes that are specific to each side of the vehicle which, together with its grooves on its braking surface, encourage gas dissipation from the pad face. The result is much greater heat management over the standard Audi discs and increased braking performance and dependability.
The Tarox two-piece performance front brake disc solution can be ordered in either F2000, D95 or Sport Japan specification, equating to grooved, drilled, or drilled and grooved options and is the perfect partner for Tarox performance pads.
Not only are the new Tarox discs ultra-effective, they actually represent a weight saving over the OE equivalents, tipping the scales at just 21.6kg while the OEM weight 26kg.
Prices vary based on carriage charges and incidence of VAT, applicable in the European Community.

Upgrade for Lotus Exige S V6

05.05.2015

Offering the delightful combination of a razor-sharp, Elise-based chassis and the supercharged 345bhp V6 engine from the Evora, Lotus Exige S displays a more-is-more philosophy: more power, more performance, and more fun.
Tarox has been listening to requests from Exige S owners in order to develop a new high-performance front and rear brake upgrade for this model. After months of rigorous road and track testing, Tarox is now pleased to announce its release.
The engineered solution shares many similarities with the company’s Bespoke range and consists of steel discs with a separate alloy hub structure. Manufactured to the strictest quality standards, each disc is CNC machined from highly resilient European steel billet, which is then heat-treated, faced and hand-finished to a tolerance of just 0.015mm for perfect rotational balance and consistent braking performance in all circumstances. Meanwhile, the alloy hub is presented in an attractive hard-anodised finish for protection against the elements.
Tarox has retained the original 330mm disc diameter and staggered 30mm (front) and 26mm (rear) widths for ease of fitment. Matched to these discs are track-ready Corsa pads, which Tarox determined was the perfect compound for this application, balancing the cold braking performance required for road use with the heated demands of competition.
Since many Exige owners have race licences and regularly take part in track competition Tarox simultaneously developed a special race-specification rear disc that reduces the unsprung weight of each corner of the car by around one kilogramme.

Bespoke Discs For Porsche 911

09.04.2015

Tarox has just released a new front brake upgrade for the latest 991 Series Porsche 911 3.8 Carrera S. This brand-new front brake upgrade consists of a two-piece billet steel and anodised alloy hub structure to directly replace the factory single-piece disc.
Each of the components is fabricated to the strictest quality standards for ease of fitment and the ability to consistently reign in the accelerative might of the 400 horsepower engine. And just as the 991 Series has employed quality materials to improve strength and reduce weight, so this Tarox Bespoke brake upgrade helps the sports car lose another kilogram per corner through the same principles. What’s more, this reduction in unsprung weight should provide tangible rewards in steering response.
Compatibility with the rest of the Porsche braking system is ensured because the Tarox Bespoke upgrade retains the same OE dimensions of 340x34mm. But while it is possible to specify the discs with drilled holes to match OE specification, Tarox engineers recommend the company’s spiral groove ‘F2000′ design for optimal service life.
Prices varies based on carriage charges and incidence of VAT, applicable in the European Community.

Introducing the ‘Extreme Caliper Testing Protocol’

11.02.2014

Tarox has revealed details of its latest testing program to which it is subjecting braking calipers. While motorsport can be a bench mark for out and out performance, and a breeding ground for new technology, the performance aftermarket has its own set of unique requirements that cannot be tested in motorsport. Tarox wanted to ensure that their brakes not only performs like it has just been swapped from a race car but that it’s as hassle free as high quality OEM parts found on most modern day cars. To achieve such levels of performance and longevity Tarox is subjecting its calipers to its ‘Burn/Freeze Test’
This new programme, usually only the reserve of high-level OEM suppliers, is conducted on a specially created test bed housed inside a temperature controlled thermal cell, known now by Tarox engineers as the ‘torture chamber’. To conduct this test, each caliper, complete with pads, is fixed on a support – reproducing the mounting point on the vehicle, and then placed within a thermal cell.
The cell is cycled between temperature extremes of 120°c and – 40°c. The caliper is then made to perform 1,000 simulated retardations every hour, for a continuous 36 hour session, over 3 full heat cycles of 12 hours each. So, in total, each test sees 36,000 simulated stops over one-and-a-half days, across an ambient temperature range of 160°c! If ever a test was to sort the wheat from the chaff, this is it!
Despite this gruelling regime, every single Tarox product was found to operate without fault throughout these conditions, with all components found to be in perfect working order after a thorough strip down and inspection. Commenting on the new testing programme, Valeria Taroni, managing director of Tarox, said “We are delighted to share the results of this in-house testing with our dealers and end-users. There is no requirement or stipulation in the performance aftermarket to subject our products to such torture, but we feel as a company, that we should prove the engineering integrity of every component we design and manufacture. I know it will give our dealers and customers great confidence.”

Summary of the Tarox Thermal Cycle Testing Protocol
Each thermal cycle works as follows:

0.5 h: reaches the starting temperature between 15-30 C
1 h: reaches the 120C temperature
4 h: stays at 120 C
1h : temperature decrease
0.5 h reaches the initial temperature between 15-30 C
1 h: reaches the -40C temperature
4 h: stays at -40 C
1h : temperature decrease to 15-30 C.

New Nissan R35 GT-R Braking Upgrades

15.01.2014

Tarox has released details of its braking enhancements for Nissan’s mighty R35 GT-R. These competition quality upgrades offer owners the chance to give their cars enough stopping power to match even the most fearsome of powertrain upgrades. Each new disc and pad fits exactly as per OE, offering a cost-effective replacement for the originals with.
For 2007 – 2011 cars, the kit is based around a pair of suitably substantial 380 x 34mm two-piece discs that come directly from Tarox’s motorsport division, complete with a custom two-piece bell and disc arrangement to ensure effective heat dissipation and high levels of retardation, even under heavy, repeated applications. Also available for these cars is a 380mm ‘disc only option that bolts on the OE bells for those looking for maximum performance at the best possible price. For the 2011 vehicles, Nissan themselves saw fit to up the ante to a 390mm front disc, so Tarox has also created a disc that precisely matches this requirement, too.
Rear discs have also been designed up to the same exacting standards, and these bolt directly to the existing OEM bells for a quick and simple fitment.
The perfect discs need pads to match of course, and here, Tarox has created a set of an effective alternatives using its popular ‘Corsa’ pad material. This well-proven formulation is perfect for cars that are driven on both road and track, offering superb feel and bite at cold temperatures, with a reassuringly consistent pedal and modulation, even when under the rigours of track work.
For the final finishing flourish – and an insane amount of confidence when driving on the limit, Tarox has also created a set of competition quality stainless steel braided lines, which when fitted and filled with the firm’s RoadRace fluid, make brake fade a distant memory. Godzilla may still be the most feared of monsters in Japan… but not in Italy…

385mm 12-Pot Brake Kit for Audi RS3

17.10.2013

It has been released details of a brake conversion kit for Audi’s hottest of hot-hatches, the RS3.
At the heart of this new upgrade package are some rather special 385mm discs. Their two-piece construction isn’t just for visual effect, with the separate CNC-machined bell ensuring greater heat dissipation and reducing the chances of warping, even under heavy track or even motorsport use. The discs are machined from a solid billet and have been designed to have exceptionally high tensile strength: 57kg per square mm.

Providing the clamping power for these discs are a brace of B400RT 12 piston calipers, which effectively, from an engineering standpoint are two 6-pot calipers working precisely in unison, featuring 4 pads per caliper.
Combined with the highly effective Corsa brake pads, they can exert the requested clamping forces onto the disc surface, with no hint of fade or fatigue, even under repeated heavy braking.
Care was taken throughout the design process to ensure that this new kit, despite its considerably larger discs and calipers, could still fit within the OEM 19” wheels. The RS3 is well known for being hard on its discs even in standard trim, and with so many examples being tuned and improved, it’s easy to see how the Tarox kit can make life better – and safer- for the discerning owner. Better yet, thanks to Tarox’s insistence on only selecting the highest quality materials in the production of the kit, overall mass is no more than the units it replaces, despite the immense difference in size and performance!
As with all Tarox ‘Big Brake’ kits, all mounting hardware and fixings are included, as are competition-quality braided lines. In short, everything is there to make any RS3 safer and more enjoyable to drive at the limit. This kit is highly advisable on any road-going RS3, but a performance essential on any tuned or track-driven example.
Prices vary across the European Union due to difference in VAT rates and carriage costs.

Motorsport Disc Upgrade For BMW M3 E90/92/93

27.08.2013

Tarox’ latest solution to harness the immense power of BMW’s M3 in its many later guises, are a two-piece disc solution that are a direct swap for the original parts.
The discs are designed to fit within the original calipers and match the OEM discs dimensions. Each pair of discs is hand-assembled in Tarox’s Italian factory and features some unique design characteristics that set it apart from the competition. The discs braking surface is machined from a solid billet of steel therefore have exceptionally high tensile strength compared to the usual cast iron. The ultimate tensile strength for these discs is rated at an impressive 57kg per square mm. To put this figure in perspective, the industry standard even for racing spec discs is usually 38 kg per square mm and the CEE standard U.T.S. is 25kg per square mm.
While the standard M3 discs are a one-piece affair, Tarox’s unique solution is a two-piece design, which dissipates heat far more effectively, as well as enjoying much greater integrity to begin with. The separate bell and rotor design eliminates all of these issues, offering reassuring performance for both road and track work.
Despite these much higher tolerances, the new Tarox brakes work seamlessly with all factory ABS systems and in all other respects, perform exactly as per an OEM set-up, with exceptional cold ‘bite’ properties and sensible everyday noise levels. Aesthetically, owners can choose from either the subtle F2000 (pictured), the ‘Sport Japan’ for a more overtly tuned look, or the traditional D95 spec for the originality sticklers or concours purists.

The prices for these discs varies from country to country due to the incidence of VAT and carriage costs: for a bespoke quote e-mail Tarox using the relevant form in the “contact” section .

410mm Brakes for Toyota Land Cruiser

02.07.2013

410mm ‘Big Brake’ Kit for Toyota Land Cruiser

The latest kit from Tarox is the hand finished 410mm front brake upgrade for the popular Toyota Land Cruiser J200 model
The kit is aimed at both enthusiasts looking to get the maximum out of their car, but also at the many conversion companies that armour or equip the ultra-tough Land Cruiser for life on the front line. To this end, the kit has been designed to cope with much more weight than the standard vehicle has, offering incredible stopping power on even fully armoured examples. On a non-armoured vehicle, the perfect modulation and precise feel means that they are never more than is needed.
Based around a brace of B400 RT 12 pistons calipers and 410mm two-piece discs, the Tarox kit contains everything needed for a quick and simple fitment. All brackets, pads and hoses are included to the make the upgrade a simple case of bolting up, bleeding through and bedding in.
The B400 RT 12-pot calipers are the last word in performance braking and are effectively two 6-pot calipers conjoined, complete with 4 pads per each caliper, instead of the traditional 2. Thanks to the car rolling out of the factory on 20” wheels, Tarox design engineers have scaled everything up accordingly, with the kit still fitting comfortably inside the original rims.

Tarox’s testing programme follows the belts-and-braces nature of the product. Fiat’s Balocco proving ground was used to develop the kit, with performance on low adherence surfaces and flooded roads, as well as fully laden stop tests being particularly important. The kit is so powerful, Tarox took a long time to ensure that this could be balanced with feel and control in extreme conditions, to prevent the ABS from being over-worked.

The result is a kit that is an ideal upgrade for the off-road enthusiast and a downright essential for the armourer.

New Peugeot RCZ 340mm 10 Piston ‘Big Brake’ Kit

22.05.2013

With the launch of the new RCZ, Peugeot has created a tuneable sports car that combines great looks with stunning performance. With so many RCZs already being targeted by tuners, it is perhaps appropriate that Tarox has created a bespoke 340mm braking kit that’s more than up to the job of arresting even the most highly-tweaked example.
The standard brakes on the RCZ are fine for ‘normal’ use, but for drivers looking to venture out on track or ‘press on’ a little during their road driving may find that the single piston calipers and 302mm discs offered by the factory may not quite give them the confidence they need. Thankfully, the Tarox response to this is somewhat more substantial; two-piece 340mm discs and B34GT 10 piston calipers, with a choice of either Strada or Corsa pads for road or track use respectively.
As usual, each disc is subjected to a stress-relieving heat treatment, which allows the structure of the disc to remain much more stable at higher speeds and temperatures. This helps to prevent warping and cracking under extreme use. Each disc is then machined on both sides to industry-leading tolerances of just 0.015mm, creating a perfectly level surface that will allow the disc to run true throughout its service life.
The two-piece design also ensures that heat generated from the pads can’t be fully transmitted into the hub, which can often lead to premature bearing wear, due to excessive temperatures.
The 10-piston calipers offer exceptional performance, with pressure being more evenly spread across the pad area for better modulation and efficiency. This also puts less stress on the caliper itself, as well as allowing more airflow behind the pad’s support, lowering pad temperatures. The result is a much more responsive pedal feel and exceptional control.
The kit has been carefully designed to fit directly to the factory mount points, and comes complete with all fixtures and fittings, including race-quality brake lines.

Tarox Helps Subaru To New Nuerburgring Record

06.05.2013

Brakes matter on every racing circuit, but on the fabled Nuerburgring, the most demanding track in the world, they become critical. No wonder then that British Subaru tuner Revolution Motorstore turned to Tarox to arrest the progress of its Subaru STI during the recent breaking of a long-standing lap record.
The record in question was an impressive 7’55″ ‘full circuit’ time set by rally ace Tommi Mäkinen in an allegedly standard Subaru WRX STI on the 16th April 2010. Revolution’s riposte to this road-car benchmark was to take over a hand-built 400+ bhp two-door STI coupe that it had built up from a bare shell, employing the talents of ‘Ring veteran and racer, Fredy Lienhard to attempt to break Tommi’s extraordinary time. Thanks to Fredy’s driving skill and the abilities of the Revolution STI, the clock was stopped some two seconds quicker than the rally legend’s time, creating a new lap record for a fully road-legal Subaru car.
On a circuit that has no less than 172 corners, braking performance is as critical as outright power. Knowing this, the Revolution team sensibly chose to fit Tarox 340mm two-piece discs up front with B34GT 10 piston calipers. The rear used the standard STI calipers, but suitably uprated with F2000 discs and Competizione pads, as per the front. Tarox braided lines were used throughout and the Tarox Road/Race brake fluid replaced the OEM equivalent. All in all, quite some package – and one that seemingly was more than a match for the 14 miles of the ‘Green Hell’.
Commenting after breaking the record, Fredy said, ‘The car was indeed great and the brakes were up to the job 100%. Not a guarantee for a 400+ HP car! I could brake in precisely the same spot as I had planned from my practise laps when we went for the ‘hot’ timed lap. I was surprised how well the brakes can be modulated without ABS.’
So what happens to a car that’s just broken the lap record? Does it get cosseted, trailered up and then towed home to the UK? No, in the true spirit of the record, it was topped up with fuel and driven all the way back to Revolution’s HQ in Gateshead without even changing the brake pads. Proof that Tarox brakes are the perfect solution for road and track work..

New ‘Competizione’ Pads For Mk4 R32, RS4 and Quattro

13.04.2013

Tarox has released a brake upgrade option for owners of some of the VW Group’s hottest models. The latest ‘Competizione’ spec pads offer significantly shorter stopping distances and can be used with either the OEM or any quality aftermarket disc.
The pads are suitable for the Golf MK4 R32, Audi RS4 B5 & Audi TT 3.2 Quattro, which are cars that, to date, have only had very limited braking options for drivers seeking the ultimate in ‘no compromise’ retardation for fast road and track work. The Competitzione pads are direct replacements for the originals, working perfectly with the factory calipers – making them the perfect choice for those looking to keep things looking original for show and concours work, too.
The technology behind these pads draws heavily on Tarox’s experience at the highest level of motorsport – including up to F1 level – and balances exceptionally high coefficients of friction across all temperature ranges with a short warm-up time and excellent temperature stability. As the name suggests, the Competitzione range is aimed primarily at ten-tenths motorsport use and is constructed accordingly, being much more aggressive in its operation than other pads in the Tarox range.
The part number is SP0303.116 and prices vary across Europe based on different VAT rates and carriage costs . Rear brake upgrades, braided lines and race-spec fluid are also all available in the Tarox range for these cars.

Brake Kit for latest Ford Focus ST

25.02.2013

Despite being a relatively new addition to the tuning scene Tarox has already developed, tested and released a brake kit to harness the horsepower of Ford’s latest incarnation of the Focus ST. Although built to exacting motorsport standards, the kit is also suitable for fast road use.
Based around the race-proven B32 6 piston billet calipers and hand-assembled in Tarox’s Italian factory the Ford kit utilises two 330mm two-piece discs. Those looking to upgrade to more sophisticated levels of retardation can also opt for the B33 10-piston caliper (pictured). In either case, the rotor is machined from solid billet steel, making for a disc that will withstand much greater heat cycling without distortion. A precision-machined alloy bell completes the picture, and all components bolt to the existing OEM mounts, integrating perfectly with the factory ABS system.
The kit is supplied with the ‘Corsa’ ultra-high performance pad, which provides more than enough braking force to handle circuit work, yet is totally safe for road driving, offering an immediate pedal, even at cold temperatures.

Brakes for the Subaru BRZ and the Toyota GT 86, the ‘Toyobaru’

25.01.2013

Tarox has released a raft of exciting brake upgrades for the current darling of the tuning scene: The Subaru BRZ and the Toyota GT 86, the ‘Toyobaru’.
For those looking to stick with the existing hardware, both front and rear disc upgrades have been engineered in Tarox’s well-known ‘Sport Japan’, ‘F2000’, and ‘G88’ guises all of them ABE certified . In each case, all styles undergo a structural stress-relieving heat treatment at the end of each machining cycle which increases durability and massively reduces the risk of warping under repeated heavy braking. Additionally, all discs are CNC machine-faced for the perfect braking surface, down to a tolerance of 0.015mm, not only resulting in the perfect performance, but also the perfect finish, to accentuate the overall look of the car.
Both front and rear discs are available in all styles, with a choice of ‘Corsa’ tracks pads or ‘Strada’ street pads for the front and ‘Strada’ for the rear. When combined with a set of Tarox’s own hand-finished braided lines, the efficacy of this set-up should not be underestimated.
For those looking for the ultimate compromise between track ability, street looks and sensible outlay can opt for the 6 piston upgrade out front. This kit draws heavily on Tarox’s extensive motorsport involvement, boasting a pair of 324mm single piece grooved heat treated discs and the ability to withstand much greater heat and repeated application than the factory stoppers can handle.
Whether you’re looking for increased active safety, enhanced looks or drastically reduced stopping distances and lap times, any of these options is a wise first modification for your car.
Prices vary across the European Union due to difference in VAT rates and carriage costs.

Lotus Elise Mk2 /Exige Light Weight Brake Kit

30. 11.2012

Tarox has just released a braking kit to enhance the stopping performance of all Mk2 Lotus Elise and Exige models.
Designed and manufactured in Tarox’s Italian factory, the kit is based around a 310mm billet-machined disc and aluminium bell combination, includes the radial mounting B310 six-piston caliper and ‘Corsa’ high performance brake pads. Braided hoses are also included in the kit for a complete solution.
The amount of thought that has gone into the design process is clear to see in every aspect of its construction. The calipers don’t need an adapter bracket to fit, for example, as they bolt directly onto the suspension legs, OEM style, for optimum integrity and light weight.
That pursuit of light weight has also clearly been at the forefront during the construction of the kit, too. Despite being considerably larger than the OEM set-up it replaces, the new Tarox kit carries considerably less mass. For example, the calipers themselves weigh a full 1.3 kilos less EACH, and the entire rotor assembly is only marginally heavier than the smaller factory part, making a net reduction of more than a kilo overall.
As an original equipment supplier to many leading manufacturers, Tarox has applied its usual quality standards to this aftermarket kit, meaning that this Lotus upgrade carries a dedicated German Teilegutachte certification – making it fully road-legal in even tightly-legislated countries like Germany and Austria. This hard-to achieve quality standard also ensures acceptance in virtually all EC countries as a recognised certification of quality.
Drivers looking to create the ultimate set-up can also opt for a Tarox B280 six pot caliper for the rear, complete with matching two-piece 288mm discs. This set-up gives the advantage of retaining the stock handbrake mechanism and caliper for full legality and safety.
The prices for both kits varies due to the incidence of VAT and carriage costs: for a bespoke quote e-mail Tarox using the relevant form in the “contact” section .

Bespoke discs for Renault Megane III 250 RS

28.10.2012

Tarox has just released a brake upgrade combo suitable for Renault’s best Megane yet: the new 250 RS. The combo consists of two precision-machined 340 two-piece discs and uprated pads.
The discs are designed to fit within the OEM calipers and work best when used in conjunction with the supplied Tarox Performance brake pads. Each two piece disc – alloy bell and high specification rotor – is hand-assembled in Tarox’s Italian factory and – like all bespoke discs – features some unique design features that set it apart from the competition. The discs are machined from a solid billet and have been designed to have exceptionally high tensile strength. The ultimate tensile strength for these discs is rated at an impressive 57kg per square mm. To put this figure in perspective, the industry standard for racing spec discs is usually 38 kg per square mm and the CEE standard U.T.S. is 25kg per square mm.
Three designs are available; either OEM looking C83 (pictured), the Sport Japan with its combination of drilled and grooved good looks or the F2000 with its sweeping radial grooves. Either can be run with the ‘Corsa’ pad for fast road and track work, or the ‘Competizione’ pad for cars that spend more time on track.
Despite these much higher tolerances, the new Tarox brakes work seamlessly with all factory ABS systems and in all other respects, perform exactly as per an OEM set-up, with exceptional cold ‘bite’ properties and sensible everyday noise levels. As the perfect finishing touch – and to increase braking performance further still, an optional set of uprated stainless steel braided brake lines can also be ordered to improved efficiency between pedal and pad.

Introducing TAROX B360

27-05-2010

TAROX already offers an extensive range of calipers in a multitude of sizes, yet they have identified a need for a high performance caliper for use with 360 to 375mm diameter, 60mm wide discs.

The new B360 10 piston caliper fits the bill perfectly.

The B360 is certainly a big caliper, but despite its size, it just weights 3.6 kg.
It combines fast reacting braking with durability, and isn’t too hard on your discs. This callipers has been designed for intensive race and fast road use and is therefore ideal for cars used both on the road and on trackdays.

Unlike dedicated race calipers no dust caps are required to switch from race to road. It is just a matter of swapping to the appropriate pads.

The 10 piston arrangement ensures the pistons are laid out in the most effective position to deliver the smoothest and most powerful braking action for this size of disc.

The calipers are supplied in an anodised finish which will keep them looking good for
a great many years to come.
You can opt for a sober hard-anodised grey finish or, for something more
dramatic, black gold, blue or red anodised finishes are available.

The B360 calipers can be specified as part of TAROX big brake conversions using 360-375mm discs.

Typical applications would be heavish, high performance cars such as the VW Golf R32 BMW 335i, Ford Mustang and many other similar vehicles, in any case, please contact us for more information on application possibilities and prices.

Brake Upgrade Nissan 350Z

27-04-2010

The Nissan 350Z was produced from 2002-2009 and has been a prime
subject for tuners over the years.
Now that affordable examples are coming onto the market there are great opportunities for entusiasts to build an exciting and stylish street/track day car.

With this in mind, TAROX have just introduced a range of upgraded brake discs to fit the Nissan 350Z.
The discs are available in G88 Multigrooved, F2000 spiral grooved and Sport Japan drilled and grooved (shown).

The discs come with the hard-to-obtain ABE Certification, which means that in countries like Germany the original discs can be replaced with these TAROX ones without affecting the manufacturer’s warranty on the vehicle in general.
The discs also come with the new TAROX exclusive Black Zinc coating system to protect against corrosion – most useful in the British climate.
The discs will improve braking performance both on the street and when used on track days, just a change of pads is all that’s required.

TAROX recommend using the discs in conjunction with TAROX Strada pads for very smooth braking action.

Nissan 370Z Brake Upgrade

25-01-2010

TAROX are now offering a front brake upgrade kit for the Nissan 370Z. The kit has already proven its worth on the Marangoni Z Hydro project car that is currently on a promotional tour.

TAROX ROAD RACE

07-12-2009

Tarox brake components have been used extensively on both road and track all over the world, so it is no surprise that when developing a new brake fluid it needed to be equally adaptable and strike the perfect balance between high performance and everyday

Tarox ROAD RACE has been specially formulated as a high performance alternative to DOT 5.1 and offers the best of both worlds: it delivers outstanding performance under racing conditions where braking systems must operate at very high temperatures, yet it is suitable for everyday road use where it is essential that a brakefluid conforms to the requirements of car manufactures.

Boiling point at 314°C
Its high boiling point in excess of 300°C makes it ideal for virtually every race condition – yet unlike many high performance fluids – doesn’t require replacement at short intervals.
It conforms and exceeds DOT 4 specification and can be legally used in road vehicles in the USA, Canada and all EU countries and is perfectly suited for use with both Tarox and other aftermarket brake systems.
